ADULT LITERACY TUTORING

The core of the South Shore Literacy Council is English-language tutoring.
Our dedicated volunteer tutors schedule weekly meetings with students who've requested assistance.  Tutors are trained in the "Laubach Way to Reading" Program.

If you are interested in tutoring, or know someone who would benefit from tutoring, please contact us at info@southshoreliteracy.org or 450-671-4375.

SSLC MOTHER GOOSE PROGRAM

The Mother Goose Program has been the keystone of the South Shore Literacy Council's programming since 2007.  The pre-literacy music program gathers parents and their young children (ages 0-4) together in a community setting.  Professional animators model songs, finger plays, rhymes and simple dances to teach language, reduce isolation and provide parents with tools to interact with their young children in the most positive way.
